Summer BBQ @ Sunset Lakes

Join us at Sunset Lakes on Sunday 30 August for a relaxed summer afternoon filled with great food, music, family entertainment and plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The fun begins from 12:30pm, with food available from 1:30pm. DJ Alan Vannin will be providing the soundtrack for the day, playing a selection of favourite tunes to keep the atmosphere going throughout the afternoon.

This is a family-friendly event, with activities for children and plenty of space for them to play while the adults relax, enjoy the food and make the most of the day.

Guests can look forward to a generous summer BBQ menu featuring a wide selection of dishes. From the grill, options include buttermilk-marinated chicken thigh skewers, sweet and sour crispy pork belly, red wine, rosemary and garlic leg of lamb, seasoned beef sirloin and an assortment of pork sausages. These will be served alongside a selection of salads, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, potato salad, garlic and cheese baguettes, local breads, dips and accompaniments.

There will also be a choice of starters and desserts, including roasted butternut soup, blushed tomato and red pepper soup, Manx ice cream with Belgian chocolate sauce, chocolate brownies, sticky toffee pudding and pistachio and cashew baklava. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Children under 12 can choose from a burger, hot dog or chicken thighs, served with side salad, chips and a soft drink, followed by a Davison’s ice cream tub.

Tickets are priced at £37.50 per adult and £15 per child.

We will also be holding a charity raffle in support of Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation, giving everyone the chance to support an important local cause while enjoying the day.
